Designation Environmental Manager
Job Description Responsible for implementation of Environmental & Social Management Plan.
Conduct Environmental management / HIV AIDS prevention program for Employees / Workers.
Prepare and implement Environmental Aspect & Impact register for critical activities of the project.
Investigates incidents impacting Enviromental and Social aspects of the project and recommends corrective actions.
Organize campaigns and awareness program to promote Environmental & Social Management Plan in the project.
Updating the Environmental & Social Management Plan (ESMP), ESMoP and other supplementary Plans to the requirements of the activities being carried out when there is a revision.
Day-to-day environmental management, supervision and monitoring of environmental related work. Authority to stop construction works if non-compliance is observed.
Ensure Environmental legal compliance (If required Environmental consent / permission related to Batching Plan, DG set and Bore well from concerned authority / SPCB /MoEFCC) and its compliance as and when required.
Conduct Environmental & Social Management audit and inspection.
Responsible for conducting environmental inspection, monitoring at their site.
Preparing monthly report and submit it to CENO for review.
Inform CENO about any environmental Issue observed at site.
Implement corrective action or measures as suggested by CENO.
Providing training to workers, staff at site level.
Keeping record of Environmental Monitoring data, training and Awareness camps conducted by him and other concerned person and number of person participated.
Keeping record of tree plantation done at site.
Participate in Site SHE committee meeting.
Desired Profile 10+ years of experience of medium / large projects.
Majorly into Railway /Infrastructure Projects/ Highways.
Capable of independently handling Environmental & Social Management in a section.
High degree of proficiency in the use MS Office.
Good communicator both oral and written.
General management and leadership skills.
Having handled RVNL/Railway contract would be an added advantage.
Experience Minimum experience of 10 year, out of it 3 year experience in similar works i.e. railway/building and other construction.

Education Applicant shall have qualified in any of the following degree/diploma:
Govt. recognized PG Degree / PG Diploma /Degree in Environmental Engineering / Science.
B.E/ B.Tech. With any other equivalent State and Central Govt. recognized full time Degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering.
