The role of PMO consultant lies within the Service Delivery Center of Hyderabad and is part of this Project Management Office (PMO).

Ensure the project is managed within the standards of project management of NGA
Assist and advise project managers and project team members on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches.
Effective tracking and communication of project status and metrics.
Assist in managing enterprise level resource allocation, including adjustments based on emerging business or technical opportunities and challenges.
Assist with establishing PMO stakeholder management plan and implementation of the communication framework.
Provide assistance in the preparation and updating of project plans.
Collect and communicate actual financial data and forecast and guard project budget.
Monitor and update plans against key milestones.
Ensure any significant deviation from program is anticipated and escalated.
Maintain tools for project progress monitoring.
Set up and maintain project files and library including managing and updating SharePoint.
Manage the compilation of monthly reporting.
Maintain and monitor project issue logs.
Maintain the project risk log and identify and evaluate risks.
Provide specialist knowledge on estimating, risk management, financials.
Provide specialist tool expertise (MS Project).
Manage Change Requests
Share lessons learned and best practices across programs, building relationships with stakeholders
Functional & Technical Skills
Detail understanding of PM methodolog
Ability to define and transition process across location

Knowledge of the NGA Products and Services.
-People Management.
-Financial Management.
-Knowledge on any specific Project Management methodology.
-PMP certification is an added advantage
-Microsoft Office Skills (intermediate to Adv level)
-MS Project (or other scheduling tools)

Education:
Bachelor or Master degree, or equivalent through experience.
Experience in leading .PMO supporting projects.
Proven PMO/Project Analyst or Coordinator experience and knowledge of project management.

Salary: INR 4,00,000 – 6,50,000 P.A.
