The QA Project Lead will be responsible for maintaining the proper course of actions and services around Functionality testing planning, execution and reporting on one or more projects under supervision. The QA Project lead is tasked with coordinating a group of QA Testers handling key testing activities. Is actively involved in process improvement initiatives and improve on efficiency and level of quality while keeping a strong partnership and open communication lines with all partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Work with the QA test team to define and execute testing in suitable timeframes
Effectively applies existing processes. Follows established process and provides feedback. Drives process improvement/ change with manager.
Creates Test Plan. Performs Risk based analysis at feature level.
Acts as Liaison with partners for area or feature they are accountable for
Recognizes and communicates the problem. Tracks issue resolution. Identifies risks.
Aggressively work to further develop the test automation tool suite and automation testing plan for various platforms and technology
Apply QA strategy for product teams while remaining flexible to individual team needs
Define and drive performance testing for the technology department focused on maintaining uptime percentages and keeping down latency for internal and external systems
Assure timely completion of testing for projects as well as comprehensive bug tracking and reporting
Provide technical support for individual QA contributors on the team
Skills and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
4+ years experience in Quality Assurance or comparable development experience
Experience with various bug tracking tools
Experience with QA tools for test automation and performance, stability, network (wired/ wireless) testing
Experience in working on automation tools and other cost effective testing methodologies
Understanding of quality assurance techniques, frameworks and methodologies
Ability to find solutions that do not follow a conventional QA approaches
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are critical
Agile and Games industry experience is a plus
