ABOUT THE TEAM: The Verint IT team is responsible for the delivery of infrastructure support services related to IT infrastructure and business critical applications. The scope of engagement covers deployment and support of various technologies , including Linux , UNIX , Windows , VMware , LAN / WAN Networks , Security , Backups , and Data Center Infrastructure. The team consists of well – rounded technology generalists with strong proficiencies in Windows , Linux , Network , and storage technologies. Key Accountabilities ABOUT THE POSITION: The Tier 2 Service Delivery team is responsible for proactive maintenance as well as break / fix troubleshooting across all Verint infrastructure and application technologies. The Service Delivery Administrator is responsible for accurately identifying and resolving failures and potential issues while maintaining accurate documentation and executing maintenance and administrative activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Technical Deployment and Maintenance: Day – to – day maintenance and administration of internal systems Break / fix response for internal systems Work on escalations from NOC / Support (Tier 1) , and assist Tier 3 Engineers as needed Solid understanding of network theory and should be capable of demonstrating this technical knowledge in “real world” situations Ability to assess technical and business impact of an IT incident Participation of an On – Call rotation Perform all other duties as assigned Proficiencies in the following technologies desired: Microsoft Lync MS SQL Server 2008 / 2012 Active Directory MS Exchange 2007 / 2010 Windows Server 2008 / 2012 Windows WSUS Updates SCUP SCCM 2012 Scripting People Specification REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL SKILLS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge , skill , and / or ability required. Strong 4 years experience providing support for Windows and Linux based server infrastructure Strong 4 years experience providing support , patching and managing software deployments using Microsoft SCCM strong working knowledge in SCCM 2012 required Strong 4 years experience providing support for Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2013 platforms and all the related components and technologies. Strong: Experience with using Active Directory for management and troubleshooting of group policy issues , DNS and DHCP Excellent oral and written communication skills and customer focused demeanor Proven ability to work well with a team , manage stressful situations and show initiative. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL SKILLS The following skills are preferred and helpful , but not required Experience working in a Service Delivery environment or a large enterprise Experience configuring and supporting mobile devices Experience with Networking Protocols and Troubleshooting Network – related issues Experience with one or more of the following enterprise applications: Exchange Server , Citrix , and Oracle or VMWare applications. Familiarity with ITIL v3 concepts and methods EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE 6 years of related experience in a technical support role Preferred Computer Science or Information Technology Degree , 2 or 4 year Degree Preferred technical certifications , one or more: Microsoft , Cisco , or CompTIA certs CERTIFICATES , LICENSES , REGISTRATIONS: Specific technical and / or OEM oriented training and associated certification(s) may be required to obtain while in this role.
